Media Manager:

At Huddersfield Giants, I reshaped the club’s media output by introducing a more considered, strategic approach to social media, commercial collaboration, and brand tone. My focus was on ensuring that content wasn’t produced in isolation, but worked as part of a wider identity. Aligning fan engagement, partner objectives, and the culture of the club itself. This meant thinking beyond matchday output and treating media as a tool for connection, credibility, and long-term value rather than short-term noise.

My proudest achievements at the Giants didn’t come from working in world-class facilities or alongside elite athletes, but from the response of fans and colleagues. The feedback I received consistently reflected a sense of authenticity, that their voices were heard, that the club felt closer to its supporters, and that the content was created with genuine care and understanding. In a role where recognition is often limited, that level of trust and appreciation was a constant reminder of the impact thoughtful, well-aligned media can have when it’s built from within rather than imposed from the outside.
